BRECKENRIDGE, CO July 7, 2015 — At Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) we pride ourselves on the fact that a majority of our owners are return customers. We believe that the best way to grow a business is to create lifelong relationships with customers-starting from the first moment of contact when they are considering our resorts, to when they join our family, and then as they return for vacations year after year. We look for ways to grow and maintain this relationship in all areas of our daily service. How do we do this?
We are customer-centric – We strive to give the best possible customer experience, providing not just good vacations but great vacations. BGV operates like a small family business where all employees work together, supporting and nurturing each other and our owners. Even as we’ve grown, our management team has wanted to keep the family feeling of a small company. In a Denver Post poll, our employees voted BGV one of the best places to work in Colorado, and our recently reached milestone of 20,000 owners means our owners feel good about us too.
We are proactive – We listen to what our owners tell us. Through face-to-face contact, surveys, analytics and social media, we find out what our owners want. The feedback they give us tells us if we are on the right track, or whether changes are needed. Every owner comment is personally acknowledged and our executive team as well as resort and department managers, respond with appropriate feedback and actions.
BGV’s NPS (Net Promoter Score) scores are consistently the highest in the timeshare industry. January data showed 72 percent of our owners and guests rated their most recent stay as a 9 or 10 out of a scale of 10. Twenty percent rated us a 7 or 8 on recommending us to others. Though good scores, we know we can still do better, and we’ll always be looking for ways to improve.
We provide the best customer experience – We know that our owners have many timeshare resorts they can choose from that offer a wide variety of experiences. As BGV’s VP of Sales with 17 years at the company, and while working years at other resorts, I’ve learned what motivates someone to purchase a vacation timeshare resort. The value proposition of today’s consumers continues to change and we remain ahead creating products that fit future lifestyles.
