Giving back to the community is something that Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) is extremely passionate about. We recently raised $2,000 for the Family Intercultural Resource Center and $12,030 for the Summit Foundation from the 2015 Christel House Open.
The fifth annual Fall Fest was a huge success this year! On Saturday, October 17th, BGV hosted the Fall Fest with some support from the Breckenridge Tourism Office (BTO) and gave back to the community in a big way. Fall Fest is a day of community and family fun complete with arts & crafts, face painting, balloon art, and bounce houses. Contributions are collected and all of the proceeds go to the fundraiser’s beneficiary, The Family and Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC). This year, we raised $2,000 for the FIRC! They do amazing work supporting Summit County families and providing crisis prevention, interventions, parental coaching, thrift stores, a food bank, and much more.
We didn’t stop there, on Monday, November 2nd, BGV continued to give to the community. We were able to present the Summit Foundation with a $12,030 donation from a fundraiser at the 12th annual 2015 Christel House Open. BGV and Christie Lodge partner up to host this event and make it possible. The Christel House is a rehabilitative and educational organization that empowers disadvantaged children internationally, and is striving towards breaking the poverty cycle.
